Shuo Wang
Associate Professor | SJTU
As an Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (#45 in QS World University Rankings 2025) and the Assistant Dean of the School of Cyber Science and Engineering, I am deeply involved in advancing the field of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI). Prior to this, I was a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO, Australia's premier national science research agency. My academic journey was solidified with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne, which I was awarded in June 2018.
Research Focus:
My research endeavors are centered around the concept of Responsible AI, which involves enhancing the robustness and reliability of advanced computational models, including deep neural networks and graph learning models. Additionally, I am committed to addressing critical issues in cybersecurity and privacy across systems, networks, and databases. Collaborative Learning represents another significant area of my research, emphasizing the collective advancement of knowledge in the AI sector.
